I did not hire Atlantic Home Inspections—the prospective buyer did. However, during the buyer's inspection of my home, the inspector damaged my property. The inspector used enough force to break the handle on my water heater valve. When the handle broke, water sprayed into the electronic controller, causing extensive water damage. A licensed plumber inspected the unit immediately afterward and confirmed that the controller was damaged by the water intrusion. Fantastic. As a first-time home buyer they put me at ease. The report was extremely thorough. Learned everything possible about the home to help me make an informed decision. This was the first time I've used a home inspector. They set the bar high. Will use again.
