As for those reviewers complaining about having to wait for appointments, that is the case for almost all of the specialists practicing in this part of the state. I've been trying to make an appointment, and I've called every day this week. So far, no one has called me back after leaving a message every day or even picked up the phone during business hours. I guess they aren't taking new patients or any patients, for that matter.
I had to leave this practice and find a new endocrinologist. The staff was difficult to deal with. Getting an appointment in near impossible. I changed jobs and could no longer make an appointment made 6 months prior. When I called to reschedule, they offered an appointment 6 months in the future. They were unresponsive to my concerns when I reached about about very high blood sugar over a couple of days. I brought my mother in for her first appointment with an endocrinologist and she was very nervous and anxious. Michelle checked her in and was so warm and welcoming and I truly appreciate it. She answered so many of my mother’s questions I began to feel like a burden but she answered everything with a smile and reassured us we were in good hands.
