To be honest 3 but because the staff are sweet and so is the dentist him self to a degree but according to him no amount of research I do his 12 years of school told him otherwise and my research is wrong told me dry socket can only be caused by smoking when in my research it most definitely didnt say it was the only way to get it at all also not ok with the fact he argued with me that im wrong his right and said he told me things and gave me extra cotton when I had to actually ask for it and he said nothing about spitting j... read more

I was seen by Dr. McCarthy twice some years ago and he and his staff were great. I went for more work recently and the results weren't good. Nobody working there now was there when I was last in, and between the office staff that couldn't get my dental insurance to work with their "new system" and the hygienist who didn't bother to give me a consent form to sign until I was literally walking out the door following completion of my oral surgery, I most likely won't be returning, which is a shame because the staff are friendly... read more
