Candy stripers. No matter how many times you tell them you are not feeling better they continuously do nothing and just try and feed you more meds. Corporate machine. As soon as they can charge your insurance they'll offer to double your meds and reschedule you again in a couple months. I have honestly come to the realization that my mental health was better before going there. It's not any better, if not worse, because you just have to just accept it as " it is what it is". If I could give a ZERO I would. I've been with the same psychiatrist for years. Today I went in with high blood pressure that he didn't address, treated me like I was lower than him. ILO, PIUS, DOES NOT LISTEN AND LAUGHS AT YOU. He wanted to add medication he's already tried because he has so many patients he doesn't remember anything. AND THE MEDICATION HE RECOMMENDED WENT AGAINST WHAT MY IMPATIENT PSYCHIATRIST SAID! Nothing was addressed, as I said. It was an in person appointment so the insurance gets their money. Some countries don't medicate. I watched a documentary many years ago on the mentally ill treatment plans of other countries. In the Nordic area they have host families that feel qualified to let a "mentally ill" person live with them. Another country went to the farm. I didn't get to watch the first half of the program. Ironic I didn't know then that I'd be going through 14 hospital visits and two mental health courts. They stay as long as they need. Not that hospitals aren't loving caring places. But. I dunno.
