I have had the best experience ever with Newton Medical. They have helped me live a normal life which I never thought would be possible. I am not sure what these reviews are about… Dr. Sarner and his nurse Gabrielle have been AMAZING. They truly care and I have been a patient for years now. EDIT: FEBRUARY 2026 I switched psychiatrists because I felt like I was just being fed medicine and not truly helping. I found someone new in the Atlantic behavioral health in newton, Mr. Abasee? Sorry if I spelled it wrong. He wanted me off ALL MEDS. So I started following his plan, he gave me trazadone which KILLED my stomach and when I told him he called me a liar. Went against overlook hospitals advice for sleeping medication and when I brought it to his attention I'm not sleeping again. He said groups would help... I sai... read more

I was there before ☺️ but I just have to say that when I was there at least, my Social Worker Ali was absolutely wonderful & got me set up with all the help I needed, even video conferences right in office. Everyone else as well was very very kind & helpful from the Nurses, Aides, Security, Cleaning- it is very clean. So I'd say if ur feeling overwhelmed etc.. maybe try it out. The staff in Behavioral Health at NMC. From the start to the the end of my stay the my staff really did take care me. They truly care and want what's best for you. I also need to thank Joclynn. Shes a good social worker. You'll be lucky shes you social worker. I feel they need some of recognition. A lunch might be nice. Thank you Behavior Health staff.
