Needs upgrading in building one. Room was okay, decent price. Indoor pool and rooftop. Gym is very small with outdated equipment. Spent most time in downtown Newport, other places were expensive closer to downtown. Spent 3 nights here , location is great, 5-7mins driving to downtown!
Dont waste your time or money at the Atlantic Beach Hotel Newport. 1st it's not in Newport..its in Middletown. You need to take an Uber or drive and try to find parking every time you leave. 2nd the hotel is old, loud, uncomfortable... the room we stayed in had a broken shade. The mini frig and microwave just sat on one wall. (Not in the cabinet that was clearly designed for them). And it was kind of weird that it had no decor, not one puece of artwork. Myself and my 2 grown kids obtained the 2 king beds room with my daughter and I sharing a bed and my son his own bed! We were delighted to have some sleeping room without the expense of a 2nd room. The room set up was great to spread out and a separate counter for the tiny fridge and microwave. Another as counter with a mirror to lay out whatever’s. It was very clean!! Easton Beach was a 2 min walk across the road! Great food next door at Flo’s Clam Shack and Tickets across the road. I’d stay again!!!
