I had pain and limited activity for many years. Dr Steuer and his staff are wonderful and caring. Surgery was a success and now I can see a future of active lifestyle that I dreamed of.
Dr. Steuer did an excellent job explaining what was needed (fusing 3 vertebrae), what he would be doing, and what the recovery would be like. Carter was also fabulous as was August. Everyone in the office was kind and responsive. Would rather have not needed surgery but couldn’t ask for better care.
My L5/S1 fusion on 7/9/2024 was my second back surgery with Dr. Steuer and his staff. I was more apprehensive about recovery time than I was for my first surgery 20 years ago. Recovery has progressed excellently. Dr. Steuer, Cooper and August have answered all my questions and provided practical advice, as well as medical. Pre-surgery coordination was excellently managed and efficient. In-hospital visits were timely and reassuring. Poof... pain gone. I cannot express my gratitude for Dr. Steuer and his team. I was in constant pain for over a year... at times, I couldn't walk. My quality of life was so diminished that I didn't recognize myself. I had seen many doctors, chiropractors, pain centers, accupuncturists...tried any and everything. And then it happened... just through a conversation, I was referred to Max Steuer, "a doctor's doctor". That day changed my life.
