I placed an order with EZ Cater for 17 people at a price of $22.95 per person. EZ Cater later called to inform me that the restaurant would accept my order only if I agreed to an increased price of $30.00 per person. I explained to EZ Cater that this practice is illegal—they must honor the advertised price. However, they insisted that the restaurant would only fulfill the order at the higher price. Reached out by phone, email and even stopped by the restaurant Husky's Kitchen and never received one follow up. I assume they are no longer in business. I reached out weeks in advance of my event and not one return call. Would have been a great opportunity to expand business as I work at a government facility. Take down your contact information and marketing if you are going to have lack luster customer service in following up with potential customers.
