Excellent ophthalmologists and experienced staff. Vision care is excellent.
Many thoughts so I will summarize: PRIMARILY: DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE!!! The doctors may be good but everything else is a train wreck. At the suggestion of the doctor's surgical coordinator I changed my health insurance, not an easy process, to allow "In Network" care. After a few visits preparing for Cataract surgery I was told I needed a referral from a PCP. Yes, that is common but I discussed with the same surgical coordinator and then it became an issue. I am a 72 year old woman and had a terrible experience with their billing department. I had a surgery with Dr. Palay on April 25, 2024. A week before surgery on April 19 at time of appointment, Lisa Blow requested a payment of $275 for refraction procedure which I made and office received my money before surgery. However, for the past year and until now I keep getting a bill for this same refraction procedure, for the same amount. Great experience with this group! Dr. Weissman is fantastic, patient, answers questions and did surgery to save my sight. Update 6/13/25: I have had cornea transplants in both my eyes and I'm now seeing 20/20 in 1 and 20/25 in the other. Amazing and can't believe how well I can now see! Dr. Weissman is the best!
I've been coming here for years. Dr. Heather Weissman is the best. The entire staff are a delight. First time I enjoyed paying a bill, that's a first.
