Dr. Palay is an excellent eye surgeon. Sandy Springs office has ample parking l with handicap spaces and ramp.
I had a fantastic experience with this practice. I was really concerned about an eye issue last night and called after hours; Dr. Patel called me back promptly, walked me through what to do, and was incredibly reassuring and warm. I came in this morning and they were able to fit me into the schedule right away with Dr. Seltman. She was so kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything, reassuring me that it was very treatable. I feel so lucky to have such great doctors….highly recommend this practice!
Excellent ophthalmologists and experienced staff. Vision care is excellent.
Many thoughts so I will summarize: PRIMARILY: DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE!!! The doctors may be good but everything else is a train wreck. At the suggestion of the doctor's surgical coordinator I changed my health insurance, not an easy process, to allow "In Network" care. After a few visits preparing for Cataract surgery I was told I needed a referral from a PCP. Yes, that is common but I discussed with the same surgical coordinator and then it became an issue. I am a 72 year old woman and had a terrible experience with their billing department. I had a surgery with Dr. Palay on April 25, 2024. A week before surgery on April 19 at time of appointment, Lisa Blow requested a payment of $275 for refraction procedure which I made and office received my money before surgery. However, for the past year and until now I keep getting a bill for this same refraction procedure, for the same amount.
