The fried catfish was okay; it didn’t have much flavor. The hush puppies had way too much onion. The slaw was just huge pieces of cabbage with little flavor. The fries had freezer burn. The onion rings had bitter onion. The sweet tea was terrible, and it was in a container advertising a name brand that is reliably-good anywhere else you see it. RecommendedWow I’m one lucky traveler! Just happened to pop in while traveling through town and this place is a great find. I had the grilled snapper which was delicious, but I couldn’t get the free sample of clam chowder off my mind. They are now packing me a quart to make the 3 hour trip home. An unexpected inland seafood eatery that reminds me of seafood shops on the ocean.
