Just had the best grilled shrimp I think I've ever had (better than if we were at the beach) at the Gainesville Seafood Market!! Can't recommend this place highly enough! (The owner even brought us their seafood dip to try on the house!)
My dad and I eat here about once a week for lunch. We always get the salads. They are absolutely amazing. There is so much flavor. By far the best salad I've ever had! Everyone is always very nice as well. Great service.

Tender, yummy seafood. Fresh ingredients. Not a complaint at all. EVERYTHING is superb. Sunday lunch after church is not busy. They'll make it as spicy or as mild as you like it. I'd come here every day if I had $10 to spend on lunch everyday! The grouper nugget tacos are melt-in-your mouth, and the seafood cheese dip is chock-full of seafood. This is a must-come-and-see-for-yourself place in Gainesville! Highly recommended.

First time going to Gainesville Seafood Market. Very laid back atmosphere. Service was excellent as was food. Large portions. They even have their own bakery. We had an assortment of a crab cake, fried shrimp, scallops, clam strips and oysters, along with some grilled scallops. Their sides are very good as well. Will definitely be going back!

Edit 7/27/16: I came back in to give to give things another go. My wife and i ordered a grouper po boy and and calamari. I've got to give credit where it's due, everything was excellent. I was planning on trying it, bit i called to ask some questions and was told by av woman that nobody speaks any English. I called at 5:30pm on Tuesday the 19th.
