This place is poorly organized and managed it seems. Needless to say...they have a very poor communication process. We ask to be scheduled for colonscopy as referred by our physician and though that is what we were getting on schedulebwith Hanna..but they scheduled us instead for evaluation. They did not communicate that it was just for an eval. They just assumed that everybody knows how the process works. They basically wasted my time off work and almost starved myself in prep. Be aware of their billing practices. I had a preventative service and at the post op visit they billed my insurance with codes that were not relevant to the post op visit. My insurance and I have been trying to solve for this since July and I have made over 10 calls between the practice and North Side Physicians billing services. Each of the representatives tells us that they will raise it with the relevant department and asks us to call after sometime. Dr. Joel Camilo is kind, attentive, and overall amazing! He was very patience while listening to me and reviewing my medical history. Within 30 mins, he recommended a solution and refer me to a surgeon. This was my first time meeting him and there’s not enough words can explain how he saved me from 10 years long of suffering. This was my first office visit since moving from Florida. Dr. Garud and his staff were very professional and friendly. I felt relaxed and was impressed with their concern for my health. I didn't feel like a new patient, they made me feel like I had been a long time patient with them. Thank you Doctor Garud.
