Dr. Lucas is extremely unprofessional and the standard of care is disgusting. I've waited 3 weeks for my endoscopy and biopsy results and still have not received them. I did receive a nasty letter in the mail from Dr. Lucas advising that she was terminating my care, even though my insurance company has paid for the procedures and I've paid a large sum out of my own pocket as well without receiving the results of my tests. Terrible Office Management – They should just setup an 800 number based on all the prompts and then expect a voicemail. Billing dept is messed up and you can't reach anyone for help. After I tried to be forthcoming with follow-ups in 2005/06 with the Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates Office asking for an invoice after not receiving anything, 3-4 years later in 2010 they have a collection agency calling me. Wasted my time--twice! – I was scheduled for a morning appointment, after waiting 2.5. months to get in to see the doctor. Somehow, Dr. Lucas was scheduled to perform a procedure at the hospital during my appointment time. I was not notified in advance that she wasn't available--in fact, I received a call from the office the day before confirming my appointment time.
