Totally rip off. They charged me $309 just for the visit ( my attorney doesn't charge me that fee for 1 hour of consultation), selling the idea that the deposit is towards whatever work or maintenance to perform. When he was here, his diagnostic was almost a reconstruction of the chimney for $14,000. Alternative option was to install a $5,000 fan on the chimney tower. GHOSTED ME AND DID NOT CALL. I made an appointment for an inspection for due diligence on a house purchase. Due diligence time is limited and ghosting someone makes it difficult. Read Yelp reviews and you will see that Chuck makes a habit of ghosting customers. Call Log Lighter’s or Cunningham and Sons, they are very helpful and responsive.
Great to work with, on-time and friendly. Made sure I understood all steps related to the cleaning and use of my fireplace and chimney. Excellent service.
