INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS SITUATION!!!! I was just driving northbound on the 405 about to pass the off ramp of Irvine Center Drive and ran straight through several of the cones that were laid out by Atkinson Construction 🦺 alongside maybe 30 or 40 other drivers that “also” ran through the cones that were laid out due to the fact that there was almost no lighting whatsoever in addition to the lit up arrow trucks not being present which is incredibly dangerous as several other drivers almost crashed…. It's been 30 minutes since I was stopped briefly in front of an Atkinson Construction work truck. My eyes are still suffering from the brightness of their blinding headlights. Ridiculous to have something like that on a work truck.

Atkinson is doing the construction project on Hwy 46 near the Shandon rest stop. Driving from my Bakersfield house to my Morro Bay house one of their double wide tractor trailer trucks carrying dirt kicked up rocks and broke my wind shield. Contacted Cal Trans and they said they were not responsible but Atkinson was the contractor and they were. They sent my claim form to Atkinson and no one ever got back to me. I have called twice and left messages with no success of them calling me back.

They are managing a construction project on the 5freeway from El toro rd to alicia parkway. There’s so much trash on the side of the freeway from their project. Cones just thrown around. My vehicle ran over a cone on a rainy night (I know it never rains just my luck) I pulled over took my car to the dealer and a two other mechanics and they said the engine was flooded and I needed a new engine.
