Went here for lower back pain from a slipped disc. When I started coming in I couldn’t sit down at all without extreme pain. Couldn’t bend forward. Couldn’t lift even a grocery bag or take out the trash. After two months of working with Melissa I am fully mobile again with only mild pain, and didn’t need to get the invasive epidural shot that many of my friends with back pain needed. The team here helped me rehab my knee injury and get me back on my feet. Mona, Paul, and Melissa all helped me over the course of my recovery. Mona specifically gave me the tools from months 3-6 to get me back to full strength in the affected leg. Thank you all!
I worked with Paul for six weeks as I rehabbed a lingering lower back pain. For context, I had 2-3 months of random shooting pain that my primary care doctor could not accurately diagnose. In my first visit, Paul was able to identify the area of my back causing this pain, and help me work through exercises to strengthen the area and ultimately stop the discomfort from occurring all together. I highly recommend Paul and this Athletico location to anyone in need of physical therapy.
