I was treated at the Athletico in Vernon Hills for about 2.5 months with Ariss Pierce, focused on pelvic floor therapy. Pelvic floor therapy was very new to me and I didn't have a lot of friends to confide on my symptoms — so I didn't know whether my symptoms were common or not. I pursued my PT at Athletico for my rotator cuff tendonitis. I'm so glad I did! The facility is spacious, there's tons of parking (it's right by Walmart), and the people who work there appear to be a very positive team. My therapist (Katie Riegelman) is terrific. She's personable, very knowledgeable, and intuitive in how she conducts every session. She listens carefully and proceeds accordingly. A great experience from Walking through the door with Yesnia greeting you with a cheering attitude. Matt is a terrific therapist. He treated my mom with dementia with such patience and understanding. He is also treating me. He’s extremely knowledgeable and is always modifying my treatment. Juan who’s interning is also wonderful.
I had a wonderful experience at Athletico Vernon Hills. My therapist, Ariss, is very knowledgeable and educated me on simple exercises/stretches I can incorporate on a daily basis to help my condition. Since implementing those suggested stretches, I have noticed my range of motion increase and level of discomfort decrease. Athletico sent reminder emails/texts about upcoming appointments, which I appreciated. I highly recommend Athletico Vernon Hills AND my therapist, Ariss.
