Best in class Physical Therapy trainers. Ben and Laurel worked a personal program with me that reduced pain incredibly.
Jacob Ranalli is completely incapable of managing this clinic. He only hires very young white women as aides and front desk staff because that’s his preference. There was one male aide of color, but he was let go, and since then, he has continued to employ only college-aged young white women.
Great experience working with Athletico in Rogers Park. A neighbor had recommended Jacob R. and he was outstanding – after working with him, my hip pain was gone in a matter of days, he also helped strengthen my lower back which was the cause of the pain along with working on my balance. His range of exercises laser focused on the problem; he was extremely knowledgeable and a great listener. Best of all he is very positive and motivating. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.
The exercises they gave me are no different from the back pain exercises you can find on Google/YouTube. I know this because other patients with back issues at the clinic follow the exact same sequence as I do. The therapist spends too much time typing on their computers than focusing on patients. While I understand they need to document, I’d prefer more of their attention on my care. I wouldn't recommend choosing the clinic manager Jacob as your therapist. He is just so busy during my appointment. There’s one time after half an hour, he told me he’s going to see a new patient and he’s gonna let the aide show me the rest of the exercises. The front desk often drag him to answer calls from people that want to talk to him and they are usually long calls. I finished the exercises and have to wait until he finishes the phone call.
