I just started BJJ at this gym and I love the atmosphere, the staff, and the classes. Coach D is a really great teacher and a very talented athlete.
I love this gym — the energy, the community, and the fact that it’s Black-owned truly sets it apart. The staff is friendly, the events are engaging, and working out with my trainer has been a game changer. However, I can’t give a full 5 stars because the lack of air ventilation is a serious issue. In the summer, it regularly reaches over 90 degrees inside with no AC, ceiling fans, or open windows — just a few small fans that barely move air in this warehouse-sized space.
