About RACO Industrial Corporation Raco Industrial Corporation was founded as a one man brokerage business in 1953 by Bob Atherton. In 1963, Raco moved to Elk Grove Village. We were the first machinery dealer in the area just west of O'Hare Airport, which has since become one of the largest international machinery distribution centers in the world.
