Dr. Medel and this staff took excellent care of me when it was discovered I had an impacted wisdom tooth that had punctured my sinus causing a serious infection. He removed the tooth flawlessly and I was back to my normal activity level in no time. I flew in from Missouri, courtesy of my daughter and her husband, Dr. Jon Rich and had this taken care of in no time. Athens is very fortunate to have such excellent care available so close at hand.
IT WAS MY 1st TIME THERE & THEY WERE EXCELLENT IN TAKEN CARE OF ME DURING MY ORAL SURGERY ON MY IMPACTED WISDOM TOOTH & JAW BONE & AFTERWARDS CARE WAS EXCELLENT ALSO. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. THEY R VERY NICE & MAKE U FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE DURING THE WHOLE PROCEDURE. I HAVE A LITTLE DISCOMFORT & PAIN BUT THATS NORMAL FOR WHAT I HAD DONE. ITS BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO AFTERWARDS . THANKS DR.LOAR & STAFF FOR REFERRING ME TO DR. MEDEL & STAFF. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BK WHEN NEED WK DONE AGAIN. :-)

Dr. Medel did an awesome job on my husband taking out an impacted wisdom root. His staff is great too, they keep you informed on what is happening and you know you are in good hands. So glad our dentist Dr. Joe Fulgham referred us to Dr. Nicholas Medel. You are in good hands at Athens Oral & Facial Surgery.
Dr. Medel and his staff were beyond amazing!! His nurses and assistants were so sweet. I got all 4 of my wisdom removed at once using nothing but a little local and laughing gas. The procedure was painless and I felt great later that afternoon. He personally followed up with me to ensure that I was having no problems (which because of his wonderful skills I did not)! Couldn’t have had a more pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Medel as he has been nothing but an excellent physician in my experience.
Dr. Medel and his staff are absolutely the best. Very warm and friendly, knowledgeable and experienced!!
