I had to travel to Athens Area Pediatric Dentistry because our family Dentist here in my town didnt feel comfortable filling my child's cavity. We were referred over to Dr. John and I just absolutely LOVED our experience. Everyone was SO nice and Dr. John is very knowledgeable!!! He is not only a highly skilled pediatric dentist but is also a certified anesthesiologist. We’ve had a great experience with Dr. Hansford. It’s been an enjoyable place for our toddler. He always asks me to take a picture before we walk in because they have seasonal decorations, which makes it even more fun for him. I’m so glad we chose this office. They truly specialize in pediatrics and go above and beyond to create a positive, fun experience for kids.
I took my two-year-old son to his first dentist appointment. He hates brushing his teeth, so I was prepared for a disaster. Dr. Hansford and his team were fantastic! We didn't have to wait—they were ready for us right away—and both the exam and the cleaning went super fast (though my nine-year-old son—his big brother—helped hold him still a little). My child (Profound Autism) had a dental emergency! I called and he was scheduled the next morning. They understood the complexities of special needs care and were very kind, professional, and knowledgeable! Dr. Hansford and the entire staff were incredible. I cannot say enough good things about them. I’m so glad I found them and will definitely continue my child’s care here. Would very much recommend!
