I was very impressed! I donated food and I got to experience all the volunteers and workers there! They were awesome! I love the fact that they have a garden in the back and homeless and low income people can have fresh foods;) Keep up your great work Y'all and I will be there soon to donate some of my time;)
Athens Area Emergency Food Bank exists to meet immediate needs, and it does! In a compassionate, gentle manner, the staff provides enough food for a family for a week. In reality, it's generous enough to last longer than that. Thanks to so much community support, they're even able to provide desserts and treats.
