We needed to have our mother transported from one senior living facility to another at the last minute. I contacted Lashayla at 8am and she was cautiously optimistic that she could help us. She kept in constant communication with me throughout the entire day with text updates. And ended up having a driver for us and getting our mom where she needed to go. Athens Advanced Care is amazing! I made a call and within an hour of the call Shayla had caregivers set up and in to begin shifts within four hours. Lashayla and her caregivers are top notch! Highly recommend!!
Contacted Athens Advance Care at 4 pm needing overnight care for my mother - they had a sitter there by 9pm - and had developed a 24 hour plan by the next morning. All sitters were punctual and professional - and provided the care needed by my mother in a difficult time. Very responsive to questions and sudden changes in schedules/needs.
Athens Advance Care provided a sitter for my sister in a Memory Care Facility during a weekend when she was very confused and trying to get out of bed frequently after recent occurrences of falls with injuries and visits to ERs and even a short stay in the hospital. Knowing someone was watching her while she needed extra supervision allowed me to catch up on rest after a chaotic week. Reminding her to stay in bed and assisting her to the bathroom during a period of extreme weakness kept her safe.
We cannot say enough great things about Athens Advance Care LLC. The care they have provided for our mother, who has Alzheimer’s, has been absolutely top notch. From day one, their team has treated her with dignity, patience, and genuine compassion. Communication has been outstanding.
