Like the reviewer above, I am suprised at some of the comments I've read. I've been going to Athena's for years, even after moving several times to various locations all over NYC. Through the years, Athena has really upgraded the salon, including a total salon renovation and upheaval of old practices and services. $19 for a manicure and pedicure, free massages and helpful staff? ATHENA IS A TERRIBLE BUSINESS PERSON, NASTY, ALL HER EMPLOYEES ARE PETRIFIED OF HER, SHE IS HORRIBLE TO ALL THE CUSTOMERS!!!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AND GIVE HER A PENNEY OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!!
