You gotta be hidden me ? This man saved my life 17 years ago !If not for him I'd be dead !I had two weeks to live and he hooked me up with all the right Drs I was in Shore Memorial Hospital the best hospital there is go to Atlantic Medical Center and you'll be dead before you come out of there! There are not enough words to describe the absolute nonchalant, negligent behavior of this doctor. I will preface by saying that I was not an easy case, I came in with a complicated problem. This doctor became laser focused on what he believed my problem was. He ordered a massive amount of tests including bloodwork, MRIs and CAT scans. I saw two specialists and had outpatient procedures done as well. In the end what he believed was the problem ended up not to be the problem. 1. Doesn’t communicate with patients- has office staff do it so you can’t ask questions. 2. Office staff tell you that they will call you back and they don’t 3. Called after hours and doctor was dismissive when I had covid and was immune compromised.
I met this wonderful doctor in the hospital where he treated me for covid. He saved my life!
My husband was hospitalized and the compassion Dr Papastamelos had to both my husband as well as my family was unbelievable. He is so very thorough and was able to find the root of my husbands issues. You know you have a great DR when many staff member tell you how lucky you are to have him treat you !
Very good doctor. I would recommend him.This is first time for years he found what wrong with me.God Bless Him and all his Team!
I would never recommend him to anyone. When my husband was in the hospital near death, he went against family wishes to perform procedures not approved by the family. Then lied to the hospital staff saying we agreed to them. He was reported. I would not even give him 1 star.
I would NOT recommend coming here. Dr. Papastamelos seemed like I was a bother to him instead of a patient. He did NOT introduce himself when he came in. He seems to be lacking in social skills. His staff seems like they are afraid of him. Fortunately, I was just getting a PPT for a job. If I actually had an infectious disease, I can't imagine this man being comforting. I will definitely find some other doc to do my PPT next year.
