Enjoyable little gem we came across while visiting San Diego. Groupon deal for flights and crowler (canned growler) was totally worth it. They have arguably the best porter I’ve ever tasted and the root beer was definitely the best brewer root beer I’ve ever had. That was a group favorite for us. Glad we were able to experience this place and chat with Daren before they sell/close Ataraxia. Best of luck to you on your next chapter of your journey and thanks for the beer. Próst!
Beer is mediocre and lacks variety. Absolutely no food option except for overpriced Doritos and BBQ chips. The place was absolutely empty I. a Wednesday afternoon. The awkward bartender struggled to keep it lively... So sad because this place has a lot of potential.
