We miss her so much in Oregon. MT fortunate to have her. If my insurance allowed I would drive to Montana for a Dr appt. She Listens, is compassionate, smart,takes team approach w/ patients. She cares!
Takes time to listen
Called to setup a preventive check as a new patient with Dr. Atarah Sidey and found that she will not see a new patient without a medical history review appointment first. As a healthy person I am only seeking the free preventive visit which is fully covered by insurance on my new high deductible plan. The medical history review is considered an office visit and I would be fully responsible for the cost of the visit since my deductible has not been met. Why would a new patient want to go for two
She has been my daughter's Dr. for a few years now and we just love her. She is wonderful with my daughter and really takes the time to listen.
Not only is Dr. Sidey incredibly professional, she is also personable and caring. I always feel listened to and cared for with each visit. Dr. Sidey explains in colloquial terms what treatment she is giving, and is never condescending or patronizing. I have always had pleasant experiences whether she was treating a virus, my mental illness, or performing a gynecological exam.
