We rescued our dog from the animal shelter. He is very energetic and he has some ptsd from being caught by the dog catcher. Ruger does not like being grabbed around his midsection. He was horrible on a leash. I was referred to Jen by a friend and now I have the best dog!! He comes when called and he walks very well on a leash. His success at life is because of the work Jen puts into her business.
After training two dogs with Jen, I am thoroughly impressed with her knowledge, expertise and experience. I now have two dogs that walk WITH me, not pulling or ahead of me; I have two dogs that know how to "place" for an extended period of time without any real coaxing or effort, and I have two dogs that (for the most part) listen to commands. She is really good at what she does.
I was seeking an experienced trainer for our rescue Buddy. We were very bad parents and he had become dog aggressive. Someone overheard my inquiry at P***M*** and she gave me ATEOYL phone number! That was the best day of our lives!! Unfortunately I went through a lot of medical issues, but Jen and Brandon never gave up on us! Now that I'm able (kind of) to get to classes with him on a consistent basis, I can't believe the difference in him! He's doing so well in the Pack to Basics class and the Socialization is going great! ... read more
My dog Cocoa and I have worked with Jen since 2009. I did everything wrong that you could imagine in terms of not letting my dog know who ran my household. Jen got us back into a livable situation by helping me repair a relationship that was completely out of balance. After getting that relationship back on track we have continued to see Jen and utilize her maintenance and socialization programs. They keep that relationship stable and give my dog activities with other dogs that are in a safe environment and not a frenzied do... read more
Jennifer trained my four, FOUR dachshunds! Well, she really trained me. If not for her patience and love for all of us, my home would be a wreck. It's not difficult, it just takes a little time to have a well behaved dog. Jennifer teaches everything one needs for a healthy and loving pet from nutrition to specific behavior issues. ATEOYL is worth every penny and then some.
ATEOYL is the only program I would return to or recommend to others. A few things set ATEOYL apart from others are: you are not just attending a class, you are joining a community of support. The format and structure of the class sets your dog up for success from the minute they exit the car. The classes typically consist of a whole team of experts - 2 trainers plus 2 additional training staff. The trainers are firm with high expectations for the dogs and owners, but caring as well. I saw so many dogs who seemed a bit unruly... read more
I couldn't ask for a better trainer. They go above and beyond here and really care. I continue to drive over 90 miles to come because it is worth it! Both me and my dog are better now that we found the right place. My relationship with my dog is solid and is as it should be, healthy. I get compliments daily on his behavior, making me proud and I owe it to At the End of Your Leash.
This trainer and her organization are dedicated to finding the "right" solution for you and your pet. Whether your problem is small or large, they have the answer! Recommended highly for anyone who wants to learn more about how they can have a full, happy and healthy life with their canine companion.
That's how I would describe Jenifer. She uses a very confident and calm approach with dogs. They feel it and they respond to it. I would definately recommend Jenifer to anyone from basic puppy training to advance obedience or aggression! She's the bomb!
