Same exact experience as Laurie. DO NOT USE.
We had just bought a new house and HMS warranty sent them out to replace my central air unit. It was suppose to be a simple install of new unit. They installed it wrong it never worked and they kept promising to come back but never did then they stop answering my calls unless I blocked my number. I ended up paying someone else to fix it and they said this was the worse install they had ever seen. Do not use this company they also go by the name ALS Heating and cooling or HMS warranty.
HMS Warranty assigned this company to me and the contractor they sent left my furnace in worse shape than when I called. I paid my $100 deductible to have my humidifier repaired/replaced and then I was informed by HMS they should not have worked on it as it wasn't covered. The rep tore my furnace apart, cut off pipe, and destroyed the shut-off valve as he could barely stop the leak - and the company did not have the courtesy of a reply.
