Cozy, Friendly Aveda Salon Shayla is awesome. It is a small Aveda salon. Very cozy, friendly environment. Seems like Shayla stays well educated. I had a good experience there while I was passing through town.
I would not recommend this salon. They offer Aveda products but that is not enough for me to recommend this place. It is not the quality of the stylists, it is the lack of professionalism displayed by the owner and her daughter (one of the stylists). For one, no confirmation call the day before. I have gone to an appointment, and even though I had the appointment card that was filled out by the owner stating my next appointment, they had no record of the appointment!! NO HAIRCUT BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT WORK ME IN! Secondly, I... read more

A nice place to visit, but... – Astrid's has a lot of good features, especially considering it's such a small salon. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. Everything is neat and clean. The salon offers Aveda color and styling products, which is a rare find in this area, and the main stylist attended the Aveda school. Overall, this salon is probably a good choice if you want just a cut - but I only recommend Shayla.
