I had a severe allergic reaction shortly after wearing their earrings. I reached out to ask if I could return them for store credit (since I understand refunds may not be possible), but was told that due to their strict return policy, they could not accept a return because the items had been “tried on.” It’s frustrating because there’s no way to know whether you’ll have an allergic reaction without actually trying the earrings—especially when purchasing online in good faith. Nice jewelry but they only have a 1-year warranty and they don’t offer any repair after that for regular jewelry :((( disappointing customer service
I went into this store a few days ago whilst I was on vacation. The sale assistants treat you poorly and borderline rudely if they feel you won’t buy anything. I was after a ring and they told me they didn’t have any of the sizes I needed and ending up selling me the display ring. Overall i’m happy with my purchase but please treat any customers regardless of their purchasing class with the same level of respect!
I visited this store for the first time and their jewelry is truly beautiful. However, the client experience wasn’t great. I asked not to be enrolled in their club, yet I was signed up anyway and told it was required for an e-receipt — which I never received. Also, even though my purchase was worth around $150, I still had to pay $10 for a gift box. Overall, I left feeling a bit misled.
My granddaughter and I went to Ava for ear piercings on October 20, 2025. I had my ears pierced 55 years ago and they closed up during Covid. Ava thought she might be able to reopen them for me without piercing again. She did at no charge! The salon is stylish, spotlessly clean and with a great selection of beautiful jewelry. The staff are all friendly and very efficient.. We would highly recommend Astrid & Miyu for your piercings if you are in NYC.
