couldn't be happier with my hair I never write reviews but since I spent almost 300 on ky hair, I wanted to wait and see how it held out. My braids are 4 months old and I am going back to have them taken out and put back in by Astou's daughter (she did such a wonderful job on my hair) not one braid fell out and I had them put in in May. For as long as I get my hair done, this is where I'll go and you should too.

STAY AWAY these people are up-most unprofessional. i got my head pulled and disrespected the hairstylist brought her kids to work and kept yelling at them while shes doing my hair then she yelled at me for yelling at her IN FRONT OF HER KIDS WHEN AM PAYING 205 TO GET MY HAIR DONE THEN TWO DAYS LATER THREE BRAIDS CAME OUT......... ..............YOU SHOULDN'T BRING YOUR KIDS TO WORK UR NOT DOING WHAT AM PAYING FOR WHAT DO U EXPECT LADY

peace nice folks my experience with them was worth while yes i will reconmend my people to check them out with the kids around they were well behave and friendly all i got to say is keep it up women well done

AWFUL SERVICE, WORST PLACE YOU CAN GO!!! Let’s face it, it is hard to find someone to do extensions well...but this was the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered.. NO MORE ASTOU FOR ME!!!! The first time I went to Astou, I has several issues, the appointment was at 9, Astou came in at 9:30, no apology, she proceeded to tell me that she needed to "eat her breakfast". Not the same I started going to Astou about 4yrs ago. After a long break (1yr) I went back this summer and am sad to say it's no longer the place it was before. Its filthy stinks of dirty dippers. Employees bring their kids to work and between attend to their kids and attending to customers is really just not good customer service. Don't be surprised if you’re made to hold a baby as the mother tends to the other cranky kids... I get it kids are kids and you have to attend to them not at my expense though! Best Damn Braids in New England Been going to Astou since her salon opened 10 years ago and I've never been unhappy with the results. She now braids my children's hair. She does a great job, she's friendly and her prices are reasonable. i recommend her (highly) to all my family (she does my mom's hair too) and friends.
