Went to Dr. Astorino seeking 2nd opinion because I was not comfortable w/ rather vague diagnosis received from another eye doctor. Was extremely impressed with Dr. Astorino and his entire staff. Their thoroughness, knowledge, professionalism and efficiency were wonderful. Far cry from my first experience with the other doctor. Left feeling much more confident that I had a true understanding of situation with my vision. Would definitely recommend.
I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Astorino, and I just wish there was a 6th star with which to rate. He was severely handicapped going into my surgery as I had a botched radial keratotomy with many scars on the surface of my cornea performed 30 years ago. He asked in the preoperative interviews which vision was most important to me, distance or reading. Dr. Arthur Astorino has been my ophthalmologist for _years_. I have never been to see anyone else, nor would I want to. He operated on both of my eyes for cataracts and now I see so clearly. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
My appointments are always on time, I am always greeted at reception with a smile, the assistants are courteous and very professional. What can I say about Dr. Astorino and Dr. Ho that I have not said before, the latest modern equipments, Dr. Astorino has dealt with my Glaucoma, Cataracts on both eyes and he is on top of his profession and goes the extra mile and I feel feel very well looked after by him to the point of if I were 50 miles radius from his office, I will be still seeing him and that should tell you something. ... read more
Dr Ho does my contact lens exam and prescription. She is very thorough. Dr Astorino checks my eyes for any hereditary eye diseases. He explains things well.
I recently had cataract surgery and had my hand held the whole time. While I would never want to do it all again, I am thankful I did it with Dr A.
