I had a very frustrating experience with Astoria Plumber. Christo Gkezos came to unclog my toilet, and despite coming out twice, the problem was never actually fixed. I ended up paying $250, which is already steep for a service that didn’t resolve the issue. I'm not even sure if he is even license to do plumbing. What made things worse was the lack of accountability eventhough they warranty for three months. Astoria plumbing was a life saver, we had a leaking ceiling during the 2026 extreme cold weather weekend and while every other plumber in the area was not able to come until 3 days later, Astoria plumbing was able to slot us in the very next morning. Javier arrived at the estimated time, very quickly diagnosed the issue (leaking radiator valves), explained the process, kept me updated on the cost, drove 1hr+ to Brooklyn to get the parts from one of the only places open and fixed everything very quickly.
