The best pastry shop in Michigan Everything is fresh and there are mounds of wonderful sweet, mouthwatering treats to tempt you from cakes and torts to baklava. It is a very clean and well kept shop. I have been coming here for many years and by far it is the best pastry shop in Michigan. Depending on how much you buy it can be pricey. So many goodies to choose from This has to be one of my favorite bakeries. They have so many different types of pastries (and ice cream) to choose from. No matter what your sweet tooth desires you are bound to find something to satisfy it here. My favorite thing to get here is a muffin, they are huge, delicous and they have several flavors to choose from. Rarely do we go to a baseball game or to the casino without stopping here on our way home! PROS: Great Selection CONS:
The Best Pastery Shop Astoria's makes the best pasteries, I think in the world. Their Key Lime Pie is the greatest. If you love all those yummy pasteries this is the shop to go to. The customer service there is wonderful, always clean and of course everything you eat their is the best. If you want a yummy trea, stop by Astoria's, you won't be disappointed.
Wonderful Bakery Astonia's has to be the best bakery in Detroit. They have a huge selection of goodies to choose from. Pies, cakes, cookies, muffins..all mouth watering. While not the cheapest bakery in town, everything is worth the slightly higher prices. The service here is always awesome too - even on the weekends when they are really busy, you never have to wait long.

Did Not Live Up To Expectations – I was sorely disappointed with the customer service at the Detroit location and now understand why we were the only two customers in the store. We bought an assortment of items to take to my parents house and I bought one item for myself. I bought one of the caramel apples - even though it was a little pricey I thought it looked very good. Amazing! – I LOVE Astoria! Anything you choose there is absolutely going to be wonderful. From cakes to tortes to pastries to ice cream to coffee they do it all wonderfully. Gotta love their Tiger Tails!
