Good place to go to check your eyes. Dr is very professional and honest they do not prescribe something that you don't need like other places.
Dr. Shetty was so patient and kind with answering all my questions as I was going through my eye exam and overall eye health. David was also super kind in explaining my insurance policy to me and what it would cover. So happy to have found a local optometrist in Astoria!
Dr Lewis is always friendly, patient and helpful..my go to for eye care, and I live in Astoria.
I had an appointment for 1:30 with Rajat Shetty and came in around 15-17 minutes late due to a delay in trains. The girl upfront told me he can’t see me today anymore. I had pretty good interactions with this doctor previously so it’s upsetting that I was turned away like this. I wasn’t told prior that my appointment would be canceled if I was late, apparently I had to be there by 1:30 on the dot but I wasn’t told this at all.
Been going to him for 3 years. Extremely punctual with appointments, thorough, caring, answers every question I have, and is so inviting.
