For a budget hotel this place is amazing. The owners are very nice and pleasent to talk with. The rooms are extremely clean and smell nice. You can tell they take pride in their hotel. As two YouTubers that travel a lot on a budget we stay at a lot of hole in the wall places and sketchy motels. We were shocked by this place. The price to stay here had us not expecting much. Normally i don’t write reviews! I appreciate my stay here so much that i decided that i would do so. I initially stayed at hotel several blocks from This hotel… i needed another night but the hotel i was staying in was booked! The employee at that hotel recommended that i stay at the Astoria west! This is what you're looking for! A hotel that doesn't break the bank and is taken care of. The room was nice and clean. The adorable lady at the front is super helpful. I will 10 out of 10 be staying here again when we come back for the annual music festival (Rooster Walk). What a gem.
My fiancé and I have stayed at this motel off and on for a little over 3 years now (since loosing our home in a fire). This is the one we prefer over the other's in the area because their service has almost always been 10/10. They have a new couple that alternate working the front desk now and they have fallen right into place with respectfulness and they are also very hospitable.
