Please beware of this place. Not only was the electrical wiring dangerous at best, but when you ask for repairs you are told AG1 cannot afford to repair. The manager Jane is a very mean and vengeful person. She will lie to your face and then she developes selective memory. The bathrooms on each floor are locked, have been for years. We received an email within 5 days. All questions answered, paperwork was clear and easy to complete. I have lived in Astoria in the past, and had a family member live at this property for years. We have many family memory and celebrations utilizing the 4th floor clubhouse. My husband and I are excited to be on the waitlist.

We recieved a phone call grom Gateway after waiting 3 months for a response. Our goal was to find affordable living in a senior enviroment close to our hospital and doctors. We know this is not a care facility, and did not expect that, rather we wanted to cut down mileage for appointments, live in an equipped place for handicap access, and be with folks in our age group. Worst management company and office lady Jane is very unfriendly. I lived there for four years and it was great at first then a new management company took it over and it went down hill from there. Be aware!!!!
