The Mitchellville Front desk staff is horrible. Absolutely terrible!! This isn't just a one-off. On three separate occasions, it ends in the same outcome. Poor communication, terrible record keeping, they blame each other for office mistakes and will throw each other under the bus with no hesitation. They are dismissive, smug, and just all around unprofessional. It's unfortunate, because Dr. Makia is EXCELLENT! It's also unfortunate, because it's just one or two bad apples ruining it for the rest of the ladies.
The doctor is amazing..... the staff is the total opposite. The young lady the works as the front desk resptionist is RUDE!!! She picks an chooses who she greets. Also EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
I wish I could give this embarrassingly incompetent excuse for a doctor's office less stars. They were rude, incompetent, and wasted my time. A week ago I had scheduled an appointment in hopes of getting treatment for my cat allergies. Which led to the first and most pleasant interaction I had with this doctor's office. Dr. Makia has helped my family for almost 20yrs. Very Kind people takes COVID-19 serious. Definitely recommend
Called as a new patient and was GIVEN a date that two weeks out. No problem there. Upon arrival, myself and a reoccurring patient walked into the building and into the office door with not a single person in sight and the lights were off and all the doors on the inside were opened and could been seen into from the front door. The office was closed for the holiday yet we were offered appointments on that day anyway.
