Appointments were made at last minute, and there was at least 2 no shows due to lack of scheduling in advance. There was no continuity of care, always a different therapist. Did not really do much physical therapy for my family member. Do not feel services were adequate for what was scheduled.
When the RN came out to evaluate my husband she arrived maskless. I should have insisted she put one on. She was nice and seemed concerned about my husbands condition. Then the next day the PT came out, who I had to request wear a mask, and and he was constantly looking at his computer and did not show any compassion for my husband's condition. Great home health company! The clinicians provide excellent feedback and the schedulers are very helpful.
Why are appointments between Therapy & Nurse practioners, with patients, scheduled less than 24-hours in advance? Why can't the scheduling be at least 2-days in advance (at a minimum)? The current policy is a stressor on the family unit (in regards to a family member's own appointment scheduling) who needs to be and/or desired to be at home by patient for educationalal and knowledge-base criteria.
