RecommendedThis is the best Hospice in this area. They gave excellent care to my father and were the most caring staff. When my father needed a higher level of care than they could give at home they immediately put him in the hospital and we went directly to a hospital room , no Emergency room, they got him feeling better and we got to go back home. They came every time we called, provided all his supplies, equipment and his medications. They kept him clean and got his pain under control. Baptist hospice is a great place to work and our staff is the best in the business. we have compassion for our patients and their families. our nurses and aides are very hands on and put the patients above all else. we make sure that the patients end of life care needs are taken care of.
First, and foremost, I should not have to leave this type of review after only ONE DAY of home health care. The care received from your nurse employed by your agency was (1) unsafe; (2) unacceptable; (3) unprofessional. We are fortunate that our grandmother was not seriously harmed or injured by her severe lack in judgement and care. Well they talk good and everything but please do not go to them after you with them all they do is miss appointment the nurse who gave my mom her bath never clean her all over which my mom never liked I always had to go after her and clean the rest of her body then after my mother passed last Sunday no one called to send their condolences not no one but her nurse and other staff from kindred hospice did go out their way and called us even after we left them because they cared go to them they reallly care about their Patients... read more

I was in ICU for a couple of days. They took very good care of me. Thank you. Doctor's, nurses, staff great people.
My geriatric mother was sleeping a lot and was running a fever. When it got up to 101, I knew it was time for me to take her to the ER. My sister suggested instead of going to Jefferson Highway to go to the one in Kenner. I had the best experience ever at this facility. My mom was in the hospital in 2017, and my dad was in the hospital from 2009 to 2012 off and on. So I dread hospitals. I had outpatient surgery this week and had an exceptional experience from Pre-admission to discharge. Preassessment calls from Sharon days ahead letting me know what to expect and any changes that occurred. The security guards were pleasantly helpful (even sitting outside in above 90 degree weather). Admission registration was handled kindly by Laverne and promptly as she was the only one at the time of my registration. Outpatient nursing staff was awesome (Julia, Jennifer and Monica). My husband and I waited 5 hours to be told to drink plenty of fluids and take Motrin!
My husband had surgery today thru outpatient surgery. I have to say this was a great experience each of you that helped us thru this process THANK YOU
