While people there were friendly on the surface, beware.  They did absolutely nothing for my mother, made up reasons to send her to the hospital, and then flat out lied and manipulated a situation to get her out of their facility to a a different hospital and then refused to take her back.  My guess is that they couldn’t handle her so they just wanted to get rid of the problem.  Aren’t they the professionals who are trained to deal with mental issues?   Don’t waste your time and money here.

My father has vascular dementia and was wrongly sent to Assurance health after one aggressive moment at his memory care facility who (by the way) did not give him his sleeping aid causing him to be sleep deprived. He was fine when he went in, but when we got him back he was near death due to side effects from a drug called zyprexa that they put him on.
