The psychiatrist parroted outdated DSM criteria verbatim that’s now considered inaccurate (🚩, and I know because I've studied the DSM 3-5 in my BA and Masters program so I'm quite aware of the criteria changes) to tell me why he doesn't think I'm autistic, providing his unsolicited personal opinions dismissing my diagnosis (which I wasn't even referred to him for, I was referred for my ADHD) because, and I quote, "I don't behave like the autistic boys he treats". Overall, incompetent and unprofessional and my care team at UTSW will not be referring anyone here anymore, thankfully.
