I guess now coming on here and reading all of the negative reviews. I should have read this before I called and made the appointment as I see. I am not the only one I did not personally see Dr. Shaw. His staff is extremely extremely rude. They talk at you not to you. They talk over you. They are insulting. My mom had severe pain and blood in stool. I booked an appt after receiving a recommendation from St. Mary’s and my mom’s primary care doctor. My sister ended up taking her to the appt and was appalled by the lack of interest and poor bedside manner. He didn’t do a physical exam on my mom and ended up prescribing her oral medication to help work as a laxative. I had colonoscopy performed by Dr Shah. The day of the procedure I was waiting for my turn in the pre operative rooms and I could hear Dr Shaw outside my curtains talking to a group of nurses. I thought he was going to come in and speak to me. He never did. Never just stopped to say hello. Tell me not worry or express any interest in me. This is my very few of reviews I don’t usually post reviews but the staff puts you on hold rude and do not know what’s going on in the office at Livonia for Dr gunjan shahs office do not waist your time with this doctors office the doctor might be ok but the staff is definitely very unprofessional and can’t understand your concerns they are running it like they don’t want to be there and there is no other way to reach the doctor save some time and money do not go there if unless you want a bad experience.

Rude receptionist. Hire and train employees in soft skills and customer service. If I need to reschedule an appointment or procedure don’t ask why and why I didn’t know I needed to reschedule earlier. Very disrespectful, extremely rude, and would not recommend.
