Been going there for a few years. Made appointment a week in advance. Arrived early for appointment waited... only to be told insurance couldn't be verified. Why wasn't it verified before I showed up. Told I would have to " self pay". WTH Pointed out number to verify insurance, kind of blew me off!! Same insurance for years. Wasted time and gas. Went next door to NEW dermatologist that verified insurance while I filled out paperwork. They called the number I pointed out!!! And they NEVER CALLED BACK concerning problem!?

I paid before seeing the doctor. I was given a receipt. I get a bill for twice what paid, and shows I paid nothing. I drive to the office and wait to speak to someone. Provide the receipt they gave me and showed them a copy of my statement showing the transaction went through. Later in the day i get a call asking for the last digits on the card and name on the card. They say it is someone elses name on it. I said no, it is my name. I went to this dermatologist for an exam and cryo freeze for pre cancerous areas on my face. I was asked to pay $177 which I thought was unusual since most doctor and dentist offices wait for the insurance to go through then send a bill for anything not covered. I later received my insurance statement stating that they paid for the exam and skin treatment IN FULL!
