I brought my 11 year old dog there due to his constant diarrhea. They did a upper and lower endoscopy and sent tissue off of his colon for a biopsy. His biopsy came back negative but No detail diagnosis was given to me on the endoscopy results. They prescribed antibiotics for 2 weeks which didn’t help then another 2 months of Sulfasalazine which I was only able to give him a couple days before he passed away. 😭. My heartfelt thanks to the staff at AVS who took extraordinary care of my Susie cat this week. Their care and concern for her were wonderful, and when we made the decision to let Susie pass on, I felt like I was surrounded with friends. The doctors and staff are exemplary.
My dog suffered a severe heat stroke Sunday at 8pm. Most places were closed or unable to take him. He was unresponsive on the drive in but the front desk staff talked with me on the phone until we arrived. The staff at AVS got to him so fast and brought my fur baby back from the brink of death! They literally saved his life. Everyone was so sweet and compassionate even with my many calls to check on my pet throughout the night. I would 100% like to thank the whole staff and doctors of AVS for saving my fur baby!!!
Last week, we had to bring our colt in, for cremation. After loosing him to a chip bag, everyone was very caring & thoughtful, and we got his paw print back very quick. Today- we got a hand written note from the office. Highly recommend! Thank you all so much.

When my Maltese got sick back in August 2019, his vet referred me to AVS. The staff and veterinarians jumped right in to diagnose and treat him. Even when he had a relapse this month and had to go back for additional care, everyone did their absolute best to make both my pet and myself comfortable. They made sure that I knew what was happening and gave him the best care possible. Unfortunately, my dog passed away but the love and care that everyone provide us is above expectation.
Thank you so much for the care, and diagnosis for my sweet Rigby. Dr Cocayne and staff were wonderful and understanding of all my concerns, and fears. Unfortunately, my sweet boy passed after we did everything we could for him. I was shattered. This week I received a sweet sympathy card from the staff, and a very thoughtful card announcing a tree was planted in his name. This was so much more than I ever expected. The entire staff is absolutely amazing! The amount of compassion and love they have for animals is beyond anything I could imagine. Bitsy my dog stayed with them for 5 days as she was battling DKA(diabetic ketoacidosis) and they were all truly Angels, and took care of Bits as if she was one of their own. I can't thank them all enough for everything they did!
