I had a great experience in the Heavy Equipment Program at ATS. The hands on in the seat training has given me the skill set needed to feel comfortable going into the field as a new/entry level equipment operator. The instructors are a great group of guys who all have years of knowledge and experience from the field that they pass on to help prepare students to become proficient and safe equipment operators. I really like the school, I find it very informative the instructors are patient and knowledgeable they make the class work understandable. The equipment you practice on are up to date. The class size reasonable, the cons is the weather. COLD!!
I looked at a lot of schools before choosing ATS, and I have been confident since I started here that I chose the best school for this type of training. Great program, great instructors, and great students aross the board. I will be recommending ATS to anyone who wants a solid start on this career path.
I've really enjoyed the training I've received from ATS. All the instructors were very knowledgeable, patient, and very helpful. I've learned a ton more than what I already knew. The curriculum books and work books given to us were extremely helpful, they even let us take one workbook home that had all kinds of equations for helping with site layout and the math involved.
