Please--as someone who has lived in State College for 30+ years as a PSU student, parent, and now resident--take my advice which was learned the hard way: Spare yourself the inevitable grief and exploitation of renting from ARPM. Parents, be prepared to lose your security deposit. Students, expect no/slow responses to maintenance issues and, if the issue is serviced, brace yourself for a lofty charge to appear on your ARPM account without warning. Very disorganized and do not seem to care about their customers who they are overcharging to begin with.
ARPM maintenance is TERRIBLE!!! Do NOT rent from ARPM!!! I had a water leak in my bathroom that seeped through the wall of the broiler room that happened TWICE!!! My carpet was ruined because of it TWICE! This was due to an old leaky water heater! I also had a water leak in my living room that ruined my computer and because I did not have rental insurance it was not covered, despite the leak not being my fault!!! BE AWARE - Do not use them they rob you at the end keep most of your deposit, by claiming that items need to be fixed. Most of the houses are in bad shape already and then use the college kids money to fix the houses. They have ever excuse possible to blame the kids. They expect no wear and tear to occur, a joke. Good way to keep their clients by getting their houses fix by the college kids!!!!!!!
