A retrospective appraisal is an accurate way to determine the past value of your real estate for capital gains. Austin and Associated Property Analysts (APA) group were very responsive getting me the information I needed. If you need a quality appraisal of your real estate from a previous year of current year I would recommend Associated Property Analysts.
On July 1st I made a call to 4 different appraisal companies. Three of them gave me the number of their residential department to call. I left messages on all 3 of those voice mails. The only company that answered my call and told me they could have the appraisal and the report finished in the next 2 weeks was APA. They had the inspection on Monday morning, July 7th and I have the appraisal in hand on Wednesday afternoon, July 10th.
