Something is fishing...On July 2024 I went to St Joseph North for a biopsy. I paid all my debt with St Joseph and I thought was done with that. Yesterday, 3/5/25, I received a call from Goast Cost Collection agency. I hanged out because I thought it was a hacker, but when I googled the number and found out that is not a hacker, I called to figure out why they are calling my number and tell them they have a wrong number because I have no debt. In calling to understand and resolve billing that I received from Associated Pathologists, related to services rendered at St. Joseph's Hospital, I could not believe the impatience exhibited by the billing specialist I spoke with (Barbara) regarding these bills that are seemingly third-party. Billing is evidently not straightforward with St. Joesph's, which causes concern for someone like me who relies on medical care more than the average person. Same as every other review - received bill that makes no sense. It does not match EOB from my insurance company. Both I and my insurance company tried to call them and they don’t answer their phone. Also customer service phone number on web site does not match phone number on bill. The whole operation is suspect.
Like all the other reviews stated, this place is terrible! Girl that answers the phone is so miserable and unprofessional. Go get another job if you hate your life so much. Called to ask about my bill and she was so bothered. Hire new people!
